TFS post free agency/NFL draft fantasy football QB rankings
May 21, 2020
Hello again! I spent the past few days putting together a set of post free agency/NFL draft fantasy football rankings. They are based on the long-time TFS 1-100 ranking system where the following setup applies:
90-100 - Elite player (blue-rated)
80-90 - Strong starter (green-rated)
70-80 - Solid backup (yellow-rated)
60-70 - Deep bench player (orange-rated)
Less than 60 - Avoid in all but the deepest of leagues (red-rated)
The system also uses the TFS system that includes overall grade, upside grade (a player's projected fantasy ceiling if all goes well), and downside grade (a players' projected fantasy floor if all goes poorly).
The matchup points total details the player's matchup grades based on a 1-100 score, with 100 being the most favorable. The fireworks points total indicates how likely it is that the player will be involved in a lot of high scoring contests in the 2020 campaign. The Excel version of these rankings can be downloaded via this link: https://delivery.shopifyapps.com/-/8568b236eb6080fb/13531b5e9fda3576.
I will be providing more details on these rankings in the near future, but based on some of the ADP rankings, there are a lot of value picks to be found here. Tops on that list may be Tom Brady, as there are many reasons to think that he can be a strong QB1 this year.
